Phew! Finally got this done after months of forgetting and my computer failing to work (twice)
i have managed to finish this.
I have picked a more varied style with this as many of the forummers wanted the map fully walkable last time. That has been done, and the map design much more looked at.
I hope you will enjoy it!
P.S There is a little twist. You don't start off with the boulder Borlath this time.
Playability: 3.5
The scenario is fun to play. It isn't too easy but not too hard either. I love the end where you have to defeat the whole Roman army with only Alexander and the boulder. However, the middle part of the scenario was a bit boring I must say. The mountain pass is long, and it doesn't have a lot of troops guarding the pass. I can just use my bow to kill them all before they can find me. Perhaps you can use some triggers to tell them to patrol rather then standing there all the time.
Another thing is I like the idea of putting units inside the buildings, but this can cause problems. When your hero is fighting inside a building oftenly it can cause damage to it as well as the units inside. Although this is rare but the hero can eventually destroy the building with his sword. You can solve this by making the buildings invinsible.
Balance: 4
The balance is quite good. The game is not too easy but not too hard either. But as I said, the mountain pass can be improved.
Creativity: 4
Very creative. I love the idea of having boulder warriors. However I suggest when you capture a town all enermy buildings should be captured by the human. This is because if there is a Town Defense or outpost in that town, units will still come out of the building.
Map Design: 2
There is an improvement between this and the first version. But the map is still quite plain. Again the beginning of the game is all right but the rest of the map isn't really as good. A lot more sceneries like trees, and rocks can be added. The city in the end was too plain as well.
Story/Instructions: 2.5
You have objectives but no stories. Perhaps you can tell a bit more about the boulders.
Additional Comments:
Very good. By the way, one question I want to ask you is how did you manage to make those bridges going up and down? I thought those bridges can only be built if both end are exactly the same height.
