Weapon of the Gods part III: The underworld.
Once again Zeus will ask you for a favour. That's the price for weelding the power of the Gods. You have to return to the Underworld to stop a creature of the ancient world, a Titan.
Technical note.
Although the map is linear, you can choose diffirent paths to take. Eventually you will face the Titan, but the road to it has some side objectives. This map is a bit bigger then part II.
Hope you enjoy
UPDATE: Acteon can use his bow. Titan hp 6000 instead of 12000. |

This scenario is great! But I have found a small error. Don't know if you are doing this in purpose, the hero cannot use his bow. The reason is because you made Persia as the human's civ but you use Alexander as the hero. Using hero in different civs disable bows. |

Hi Dr Grip.
Didn't do that on purpose. But I think it's fine the way it is.
Did you beat the Titan at the end? |

No, but a funny thing happened though. When the Titan has lost about 1/3 of his HP, I forced him to the cliffs. But he "climbed" over the cliffs and I was unable to attack him. And I couldn't use my bow either , I was forced to give up. Here's a screenshot of what happened. But this is probably a very rare glitch.

Something similar happened when I playtested the game. The Titan dissapeared into the ground. But I could still attack him with my sword.
Thanks for playing.
Acteon is now able to use his bow. I also gave the Titan 6000 hp instead of 12000. [Edited on 10/21/06 @ 05:01 AM]

Playability: 3.5
A fairly fun scenario, just above average in my opinion. Very much like the first "Underworld" installment, but I found it slightly less entertaining, because the gameplay was basically the same and the balance was worse.
Balance: 3
An average job done here as well. I won on my first attempt again. You need to make the computer units more "interactive". What I mean by that is they should move like real soldiers would. They wouldn't just stand there, wait for you to come and then attack you, there would be constant waves of these "underworld men" sent at you as you progressed on the path. Look at the scenario in the Cleopatra Campaign that came with the demo. The Romans were continuously sent to attack her as she went in certain areas and triggered the "task-object" effects. It was especially easy to just stand back and shoot all of the enemies with your bow and they wouldn't start coming to attack you. Might I suggest that you use a "If object is 3P target" condition (in object specs) so that the targeted units will move away (dodge) your targetting.
Creativity: 4
Again, the underworld theme is absolutely brilliant! I loved it even if it was only a repeat of the previous scenario. You've got a great imagination.
Map Design: 4.9
I felt the map design here was slightly better than the first underworld scenario. For one, it was bigger and there were different side roads to take with dead ends. I especially like the area of the map where it wasn't as open. Where you were in hallways walled by dark, spire-like rocks. These looked especially creepy, very effective work done here.
Story/Instructions: 2.5
Again, an area where the scenario was lacking. For some people these short blurbs about what you're supposed to do is good enough, but I find it dry and minimal. I really like the conversations with Zeus, and I think you could really elaborate on this and make it into a full scale cinematic. That would be an effective way to tell a brief story and give us some background before we jump right into the game and start slaughtering people. If the player knows what he's fighting for, and can feel the character's emotions in the story, it makes it more meaningful and energizing to play.
Additional Comments:
Overall another good job by Accolon. Keep improving and I think you'll have one heck of campaign on your hands.
(I realize that to some my ratings may seem a bit harsh, but when you consider what is actually possible with this editor (which, by the way, is more than designers ever could do with EE, Empires or even AoE3) you'll understand my reasoning. I would hate to see people rating 5.0 when the full potential of the editor is not yet realized.) [Edited on 10/23/06 @ 04:41 PM]
