I can not seem to find how to use something along the lines above.

Look through the editor and see for yourselfs please.

The only thing I can think of is that the unit can't path to area he is in area, but this could casue problems.

Not sure if I understand your question. Do you need to know how to use the statement, or make the statement?

You need to make an object definition and an area definition. Under the object you specified, tick the area box and add the area you previously defined.

This object will then appear in the conditions list.

This may sound like a stupid way to create such a simple condition. But believe me, it opens up options in the long run for some pretty good stuff.
